Materials

  • - 4 bone-in pork chops about 1-inch thick
  • - 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • - 2 teaspoons salt
  • - 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • - 1 teaspoon paprika
  • - 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • - 2 eggs
  • - 1/4 cup milk
  • - 2 cups breadcrumbs or panko
  • - Vegetable oil for frying

Instructions

  • In a shallow bowl, mix together flour, salt, black pepper, paprika, and garlic powder.
  • In another shallow bowl, beat the eggs with the milk.
  • Place breadcrumbs in a third shallow bowl.
  • Dredge each pork chop in the flour mixture, then dip into the egg mixture, and finally coat with breadcrumbs.
  • Heat a large skillet with enough vegetable oil to come halfway up the sides of the pork chops over medium-high heat.
  • Fry the pork chops for 5-6 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cooked through.
  • Drain on paper towels before serving.
