3-Ingredient Iced Matcha Latte

Materials

  • 1 teaspoon high-quality matcha powder
  • 2 ounces 60 ml hot water, about 180°F
  • 1 cup milk of choice we love Oatly Oatmilk Barista Edition!
  • Ice
  • Maple syrup or syrup/sweetener of choice to taste- optional

Instructions

  • Sort matcha powder into a little dish. Don't omit this step—sifting the matcha first helps break up any clumps for the nicest texture possible in your batch!
  • After that, pour the boiling water into the matcha bowl.
  • Mix the ingredients together rapidly in an M-shape with a bamboo whisk until the matcha has a wonderful frothy top.
  • Pour a glass of milk of your choice over a handful of ice, and then, optionally, top with a dash of maple syrup or another specially made syrup or sweetener for coffee. Next, immediately pour the matcha mixture on top. Using a straw, slowly swirl the iced matcha latte to ensure it is well combined. As needed, taste and adjust the sweetness. Drink, sip, and delight!
