Bacon Cheeseburger Meatloaf

This meatloaf has all of the delicious flavor of a bacon cheeseburger! To achieve authentic burger flavor, top slices of meatloaf with ketchup, mustard, and relish.

Materials

  • 3 pounds 85% lean 15% fat ground beef.
  • 1 pound of country style sausage.
  • 2 eggs.
  • ¾ cup of diced onion.
  • cup of ketchup.
  • 1 ½ tsps of Morton’s Nature’s seasoning.
  • ½ tsp of garlic powder.
  • 1 tbsp of worcestershire sauce.
  • ½ tsp of pepper.
  • ½ tsp of salt.
  • ½ cup of breadcrumbs.
  • 1 cup of diced cheddar cheese.

Instructions

  • In a large bowl, combine all of the ingredients except for the bacon.
  • Place the mixture into two loaf pans lined with bacon.
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F and bake for 90 minutes.
  • Remove from the pan immediately after baking, slice, and serve. Voila!
  • Simple, simple, and wonderful! I preserve the leftovers to make sandwiches the following day! I take it from the pan immediately after baking to decrease the quantity of fat.
