Materials

  • - 4 large croissants sliced in half
  • - 8 slices of bacon
  • - 4 eggs
  • - 1/4 cup milk
  • - Salt and pepper to taste
  • - 1 cup cheddar cheese shredded
  • - Butter for frying

Instructions

  • Cook the bacon in a large skillet over medium heat until crispy. Remove and set aside on paper towels to drain.
  • In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, and pepper.
  • Heat a little butter in the same skillet over medium heat. Pour in the egg mixture, stirring gently until the eggs are fluffy and cooked through.
  • Open the croissants and lay them cut-side up on a baking sheet. Distribute the cooked eggs evenly among the croissants, add two slices of bacon per croissant, and sprinkle with shredded cheese.
  • Place under the broiler for 1-2 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  • Serve immediately with your favorite hot sauce or ketchup, if desired.
