I try to cook this Baked Cajun Shrimp dish at least twice a month because it's simple and quick to prepare. They make an excellent weeknight sheet pan supper.

Materials

  • - 1 lb large shrimp peeled and deveined
  • - 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • - 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
  • - 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • - 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • - 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes optional for extra heat
  • - Salt to taste
  • - Fresh parsley chopped for garnish
  • - Lemon wedges for serving

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • In a large bowl, combine the shrimp with olive oil, Cajun seasoning, garlic powder, smoked paprika, red pepper flakes (if using), and salt. Toss to ensure the shrimp are evenly coated.
  • Arrange the shrimp in a single layer on a baking sheet.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 8-10 minutes, or until the shrimp are pink, firm, and cooked through.
  • Garnish with chopped parsley and serve immediately with lemon wedges on the side.
