Materials

  • - 4 pounds beef ribs
  • - 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • - 1 tablespoon paprika
  • - 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • - 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • - 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • - Salt and black pepper to taste
  • - 1 cup BBQ sauce homemade or store-bought
  • - 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
  • - 1 tablespoon olive oil

Instructions

  • In a small bowl, combine the brown sugar, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper.
  • Rub the spice mixture all over the meat ribs. Allow to marinate in the refrigerator for at least an hour, preferably overnight for the best results.
  • Preheat your grill to medium heat, or preheat your oven to 275°F (135°C) if you're cooking indoors.
  • In a separate bowl, combine the barbecue sauce, apple cider vinegar, and olive oil.
  • Put the ribs on the grill or in the oven. Grill for approximately 1.5 to 2 hours, rotating periodically and basting with the BBQ sauce mixture every 30 minutes. If baking, wrap in foil and bake for 3 to 4 hours, basting with the sauce mixture every hour.
  • After cooking, allow the ribs to rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
