Yield: 4
- - 2 steaks about 6 oz each
- - 12 large shrimp peeled and deveined
- - 1 tbsp blackening seasoning
- - 2 tbsp olive oil
- - 1 cup heavy cream
- - 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- - 3 cloves garlic minced
- - 8 oz fettuccine pasta
- - Salt and pepper to taste
- - 2 tbsp unsalted butter
- - 1/4 cup fresh parsley chopped
Season the steak and shrimp with blackening seasoning, salt, and pepper.
Heat 1 tbsp olive oil in a pan over medium-high heat. Add the steaks and cook to desired doneness, about 4-5 minutes per side for medium-rare. Remove and let rest.
In the same pan, add the remaining olive oil and cook the shrimp for 2-3 minutes, or until pink and opaque. Remove and set aside.
Cook fettuccine according to package instructions, drain, and set aside.
In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté for 1 minute. Add heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Reduce heat and stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and sauce is smooth.
Toss the cooked pasta in the Alfredo sauce. Slice steak against the grain.
Plate the pasta, top with sliced steak and shrimp, and garnish with chopped parsley.
