Materials

  • - 2 steaks about 6 oz each
  • - 12 large shrimp peeled and deveined
  • - 1 tbsp blackening seasoning
  • - 2 tbsp olive oil
  • - 1 cup heavy cream
  • - 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • - 3 cloves garlic minced
  • - 8 oz fettuccine pasta
  • - Salt and pepper to taste
  • - 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • - 1/4 cup fresh parsley chopped

Instructions

  • Season the steak and shrimp with blackening seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  • Heat 1 tbsp olive oil in a pan over medium-high heat. Add the steaks and cook to desired doneness, about 4-5 minutes per side for medium-rare. Remove and let rest.
  • In the same pan, add the remaining olive oil and cook the shrimp for 2-3 minutes, or until pink and opaque. Remove and set aside.
  • Cook fettuccine according to package instructions, drain, and set aside.
  • In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté for 1 minute. Add heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Reduce heat and stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and sauce is smooth.
  • Toss the cooked pasta in the Alfredo sauce. Slice steak against the grain.
  • Plate the pasta, top with sliced steak and shrimp, and garnish with chopped parsley.
