Materials

  • - 1 lb salmon fillet
  • - 1 lb shrimp peeled and deveined
  • - 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
  • - 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • - 1 tablespoon butter
  • - 1 onion finely chopped
  • - 4 cloves garlic minced
  • - 1 cup heavy cream
  • - Salt and pepper to taste
  • - Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  • Season the salmon and shrimp generously with Cajun seasoning.
  • In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the salmon fillet and cook for 5 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked. Remove from skillet and set aside.
  • In the same skillet, add the shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until pink and cooked through. Remove from skillet and set aside.
  • In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add the onion and garlic, and sauté until the onion is translucent.
  • Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Season with salt and pepper. Cook for 5 minutes, or until the sauce thickens.
  • Return the salmon and shrimp to the skillet and coat with the garlic cream sauce. Simmer for an additional 2-3 minutes.
  • Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
