- - 1 lb salmon fillet
- - 1 lb shrimp peeled and deveined
- - 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
- - 2 tablespoons olive oil
- - 1 tablespoon butter
- - 1 onion finely chopped
- - 4 cloves garlic minced
- - 1 cup heavy cream
- - Salt and pepper to taste
- - Fresh parsley for garnish
Season the salmon and shrimp generously with Cajun seasoning.
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the salmon fillet and cook for 5 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked. Remove from skillet and set aside.
In the same skillet, add the shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until pink and cooked through. Remove from skillet and set aside.
In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add the onion and garlic, and sauté until the onion is translucent.
Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Season with salt and pepper. Cook for 5 minutes, or until the sauce thickens.
Return the salmon and shrimp to the skillet and coat with the garlic cream sauce. Simmer for an additional 2-3 minutes.
Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
