Materials

  • - 1 pound large shrimp peeled and deveined
  • - 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • - 3 garlic cloves minced
  • - 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • - 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
  • - 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes adjust to taste
  • - 1/4 cup lemon juice
  • - 2 tablespoons fresh parsley chopped
  • - Salt to taste
  • - Freshly ground black pepper to taste
  • - 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • - 8 ounces linguine pasta cooked al dente

Instructions

  • In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat.
  • Add garlic and sauté for about 1 minute, until fragrant.
  • Add the shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side, until pink and cooked through.
  • Remove shrimp from the skillet and set aside.
  • In the same skillet, add chicken broth, Cajun seasoning, red pepper flakes, and lemon juice. Bring to a simmer and let the sauce reduce for about 5 minutes.
  • Return the shrimp to the skillet and toss to coat in the sauce.
  • Stir in the chopped parsley, and season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Serve over cooked linguine pasta, and top with grated Parmesan cheese.
