- 1 large egg
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1/2 teaspoon coarse ground black pepper
- 1 cup bread crumbs
- 1/4 yellow onion finely chopped
- 1 pound ground beef (85/15)
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
Whisk together the egg, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and black pepper in a large bowl.
Mix thoroughly after adding the breadcrumbs and onions.
Stir to blend after adding the ground meat.
Heat a sizable pan over medium-high heat with vegetable oil.
Using the meat, form four oval patties.
Cook for 5 to 6 minutes on each side, or until browned and cooked through, after adding to the skillet.
