Materials

  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon coarse ground black pepper
  • 1 cup bread crumbs
  • 1/4 yellow onion finely chopped
  • 1 pound ground beef (85/15)
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil

Instructions

  • Whisk together the egg, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and black pepper in a large bowl.
  • Mix thoroughly after adding the breadcrumbs and onions.
  • Stir to blend after adding the ground meat.
  • Heat a sizable pan over medium-high heat with vegetable oil.
  • Using the meat, form four oval patties.
  • Cook for 5 to 6 minutes on each side, or until browned and cooked through, after adding to the skillet.
