Materials

  • 12 ounces fresh cranberries
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup apricot jam
  • 1 cup pecans chopped
  • 8 ounce cream cheese softened

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit (175 degrees Celsius).
  • In a 2 quart baking dish with a cover, combine cranberries and sugar, stirring well to coat all of the berries.
  • Cover and bake for about 30 minutes, or until the cranberries explode and release their juice.
  • After baking, remove from the oven and toss in the apricot jam and pecans.
  • Refrigerate overnight to allow the flavors to meld.
  • Allow the cream cheese to come to room temperature before serving, and then pour the dip over the block of cream cheese on a serving plate.
