Materials

  • - 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • - Salt and pepper to taste
  • - 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • - 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • - 5 cloves garlic minced
  • - 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • - 1 teaspoon dried rosemary
  • - 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • - Juice of 1 lemon
  • - 2 tablespoons fresh parsley chopped

Instructions

  • Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add chicken and cook until golden brown on both sides and cooked through, about 6-8 minutes per side. Remove chicken and set aside.
  • In the same skillet, add butter and garlic. Sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  • Stir in thyme, rosemary, chicken broth, and lemon juice. Bring to a simmer.
  • Return chicken to the skillet and spoon sauce over the top. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
  • Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
