Honey Garlic Wings

I just made a batch of these amazing honey garlic wings! A perfect blend of sweet and salty.

Materials

  • - 2 lbs chicken wings
  • - Salt and pepper to taste
  • - 1/2 cup flour for coating
  • - 1/4 cup butter
  • - 4 cloves garlic minced
  • - 1/2 cup honey
  • - 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • - 2 tablespoons ginger grated
  • - 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • - 1 teaspoon chili flakes optional
  • - Sesame seeds and green onions for garnish

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 400°F (200° C). Season the chicken wings with salt & pepper, then gently dredge them in flour.
  • Place the wings on a baking sheet and bake for 40–45 minutes, or until crispy and golden.
  • While the wings bake, melt the butter in a skillet over medium heat. Add the garlic and ginger and sauté until fragrant.
  • Add the honey, soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, and chili flakes (if desired). Bring to a simmer and let the sauce to thicken slightly.
  • Toss the cooked wings in the sauce until evenly covered.
  • Just before serving, garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onion.
