Materials

  • - 1 lb ground beef
  • - 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • - 1/4 cup milk
  • - 1 egg
  • - 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • - 1 teaspoon salt
  • - 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • - 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • - 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • - 1 onion finely chopped
  • - 2 cups mushrooms sliced
  • - 2 cloves garlic minced
  • - 1 cup beef broth
  • - 1 cup heavy cream
  • - 1 lb pasta of your choice
  • - Fresh parsley chopped for garnish
  • - Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • In a bowl, mix ground beef, breadcrumbs, milk, egg, Parmesan, salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Form into meatballs.
  • Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Add meatballs and cook until browned on all sides. Remove from pan and set aside.
  • In the same pan, add onion and mushrooms. Sauté until soft. Add garlic and cook for another minute.
  • Pour in beef broth and heavy cream. Bring to a simmer. Return meatballs to the pan and cook for 10 minutes or until sauce thickens.
  • Meanwhile, cook pasta according to package instructions. Drain.
  • Serve meatballs and mushroom sauce over pasta, garnished with fresh parsley.
