- - 1 lb ground beef
- - 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- - 1/4 cup milk
- - 1 egg
- - 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- - 1 teaspoon salt
- - 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- - 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- - 2 tablespoons olive oil
- - 1 onion finely chopped
- - 2 cups mushrooms sliced
- - 2 cloves garlic minced
- - 1 cup beef broth
- - 1 cup heavy cream
- - 1 lb pasta of your choice
- - Fresh parsley chopped for garnish
- - Salt and pepper to taste
In a bowl, mix ground beef, breadcrumbs, milk, egg, Parmesan, salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Form into meatballs.
Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Add meatballs and cook until browned on all sides. Remove from pan and set aside.
In the same pan, add onion and mushrooms. Sauté until soft. Add garlic and cook for another minute.
Pour in beef broth and heavy cream. Bring to a simmer. Return meatballs to the pan and cook for 10 minutes or until sauce thickens.
Meanwhile, cook pasta according to package instructions. Drain.
Serve meatballs and mushroom sauce over pasta, garnished with fresh parsley.
