- - 1 Ribeye steak approximately 1.5 inches thick
- - Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
- - 2 tablespoons olive oil
- - 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- - 3 cloves garlic minced
- - 1 tablespoon fresh rosemary chopped
- - 1 tablespoon fresh thyme chopped
Take the steak out of the refrigerator and let it come to room temperature, about 30 minutes.
Season both sides of the steak generously with salt and pepper.
