Equipment

  • Large skillet or sauté pan
  • Cutting board & knife (for garlic)
  • Measuring cup
  • Tongs or spoon for stirring
  • Optional: baking dish if you prefer roasting

Materials

  • 1 pound raw shrimp peeled and deveined
  • ½ cup 1 stick butter – Salted or unsalted
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 packet dry Italian dressing mix – Like Good Seasons or any zesty Italian-style mix
  • > Optional: Lemon wedges fresh parsley, or red pepper flakes for garnish

Instructions

Step 1: Prep the Shrimp

  • If using frozen shrimp, thaw them under cold water. Peel and devein if needed. Pat dry with a paper towel so they sear better.
  • ---

Step 2: Sauté the Garlic in Butter

  • In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1–2 minutes until fragrant (don’t let it burn!).
  • ---

Step 3: Add Shrimp & Seasoning

  • Add the shrimp to the skillet and sprinkle the Italian dressing mix evenly over them. Stir well to coat.
  • Cook for 3–4 minutes per side, or until shrimp turn pink and opaque.
  • ---

Step 4: Serve & Enjoy

  • Once cooked through, spoon the shrimp and buttery garlic sauce onto your plate. Garnish with lemon wedges or fresh parsley if desired.
  • Serve immediately—preferably with something to soak up all that flavorful sauce!
