Spaghetti & Stuffed Mozzarella Garlic Bread Recipe

Materials

  • 1 pound spaghetti
  • 1 loaf of French bread
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Cook spaghetti according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
  • Cut the loaf of French bread in half lengthwise.
  • In a small saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  • Brush the garlic butter mixture over the bread halves.
  • Sprinkle grated parmesan cheese and chopped parsley over the bread halves.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 10 minutes, until the bread is crispy and golden brown.
  • Meanwhile, heat marinara sauce in a medium saucepan over medium heat.
  • Add cooked spaghetti to the saucepan and toss to coat with the sauce. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Remove the bread from the oven and top each half with shredded mozzarella cheese.
  • Return the bread to the oven and bake for an additional 5-7 minutes, until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  • Cut the bread into slices and serve alongside the spaghetti.
