Materials

For the Dough:

  • - 7g dry yeast
  • - 140ml 3/5 cup warm milk
  • - 40g 1/4 cup softened butter

  • - Strawberries chopped

Instructions

Activate Yeast:

  • - In a medium bowl, stir together the sugar, yeast, and warm milk until the yeast is dissolved.

Prepare Dough:

  • - Whisk in the egg.
  • - Add the flour and salt, then use a spatula to start mixing the dough. Continue working it with your hands until you get a dough that can stretch.
  • - Add the softened butter and knead the dough until the butter is completely incorporated.

First Rise:

  • - Roll the dough into a ball, cover it with plastic wrap or a kitchen towel, and let it rise for an hour until it has doubled in size.

Shape Dough:

  • - Divide the dough into eight pieces and roll each piece into a ball.
  • - Cover the balls and let them sit for 30 minutes.

Second Rise:

  • - Flatten each ball slightly and then roll it back into a ball.
  • - Cover and let sit for another 30 minutes.

Fry Dough:

  • - Heat oil in a frying pan over low heat.
  • - Fry the dough balls for 2 to 3 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  • - Let them cool for a bit.

Assemble Strawberry Bombs:

  • - Once cooled, cut each dough ball in half like a burger bun.
  • - Spread whipped cream and chopped strawberries on one half.
