Materials

  • - 1 pound deli turkey thinly sliced
  • - 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • - 4 large pita breads
  • - 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • - 1 tablespoon mustard
  • - 1/2 cup lettuce chopped
  • - 1 tomato sliced
  • - 1/2 red onion thinly sliced
  • - Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a small bowl, mix together mayonnaise and mustard.
  • Cut pita breads in half to create pockets. Spread the inside of each pocket with the mayonnaise-mustard mixture.
  • Layer deli turkey, cheese, lettuce, tomato slices, and red onion inside each pita pocket.
  • Season with salt and pepper.
  • Wrap each pita pocket in aluminum foil and place them on a baking sheet.
  • Bake for 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the pita is warm.
  • Serve immediately.
