Materials

  • - 2 lbs beef tips
  • - 1 onion chopped
  • - 3 cloves garlic minced
  • - 2 cups beef broth
  • - 1 cup red wine optional
  • - 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • - 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • - 1 teaspoon thyme
  • - 1 teaspoon rosemary
  • - Salt and pepper to taste
  • - 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • - 2 tablespoons water

Instructions

  • Place beef tips in the slow cooker.
  • Add chopped onion, minced garlic, beef broth, red wine (if using), Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, thyme, rosemary, salt, and pepper.
  • Cook on low for 8 hours or on high for 4 hours, until the beef is tender.
  • Mix cornstarch with water to create a slurry. Stir into the slow cooker and cook on high for an additional 20-30 minutes or until the gravy thickens.
  • Serve over mashed potatoes, rice, or your favorite starch.
