This delightful Strawberry Tiramisu is packed with strawberry flavor! It consists of layers of fluffy ladyfingers coated in strawberry syrup, topped with a creamy Mascarpone Filling, Strawberry Jam, and chopped strawberries.

Materials

For the strawberry syrup:

  • 1 cup fresh strawberries chopped
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup water
  • For the tiramisu:
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 8 ounces mascarpone cheese
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 24 ladyfinger cookies
  • Fresh strawberries sliced, for garnish

Instructions

  • 1.In a saucepan, mix the chopped strawberries, granulated sugar, and water. Cook for 5-7 minutes over medium heat, stirring regularly, until the strawberries have broken down and the sauce has thickened somewhat. Remove from heat and allow to cool.
  • 2.In a mixing basin, whisk the heavy cream until firm peaks form.
  • 3.In a separate mixing bowl, whisk together the mascarpone cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla essence until smooth and creamy.
  • 4.Gently whisk the whipped cream into the mascarpone mixture until thoroughly mixed.
  • 5.Dip each ladyfinger cookie in the chilled strawberry syrup, coating both sides lightly.
  • 6.Arrange a layer of soaked ladyfingers in the bottom of a serving dish or individual glasses.
  • 7.Spread a layer of the mascarpone mixture over the soaked ladyfingers.
  • 8.Repeat the layers until all ingredients are used, finishing with a layer of mascarpone mixture on top.
  • 9.Cover and refrigerate the tiramisu for at least 4 hours, or overnight, to allow the flavors to meld and the dessert to set.
  • 10.Before serving, garnish the tiramisu with sliced fresh strawberries.
