Strawberry Tiramisu

This delightful Strawberry Tiramisu is packed with strawberry flavor! It consists of layers of fluffy ladyfingers coated in strawberry syrup, topped with a creamy Mascarpone Filling, Strawberry Jam, and chopped strawberries.

Ingredients:

For the strawberry syrup:

1 cup fresh strawberries, chopped

1/4 cup granulated sugar

1/4 cup water

For the tiramisu:

1 cup heavy cream

8 ounces mascarpone cheese

1/4 cup powdered sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

24 ladyfinger cookies

Fresh strawberries, sliced, for garnish

Directions:

1.In a saucepan, mix the chopped strawberries, granulated sugar, and water. Cook for 5-7 minutes over medium heat, stirring regularly, until the strawberries have broken down and the sauce has thickened somewhat. Remove from heat and allow to cool.

2.In a mixing basin, whisk the heavy cream until firm peaks form.

3.In a separate mixing bowl, whisk together the mascarpone cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla essence until smooth and creamy.

4.Gently whisk the whipped cream into the mascarpone mixture until thoroughly mixed.

5.Dip each ladyfinger cookie in the chilled strawberry syrup, coating both sides lightly.

6.Arrange a layer of soaked ladyfingers in the bottom of a serving dish or individual glasses.

7.Spread a layer of the mascarpone mixture over the soaked ladyfingers.

8.Repeat the layers until all ingredients are used, finishing with a layer of mascarpone mixture on top.

9.Cover and refrigerate the tiramisu for at least 4 hours, or overnight, to allow the flavors to meld and the dessert to set.

10.Before serving, garnish the tiramisu with sliced fresh strawberries.
