Italian-Style Baked Meatballs

Savor the delectable tastes of Italian-Style cooked Meatballs, a classic dish made with seasoned ground beef molded into balls, cooked till golden brown, and served with your favorite pasta and marinara sauce for a filling and satisfying dinner.

Ingredients:

1 lb ground beef

1/2 lb ground pork

1/2 cup breadcrumbs

1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 large egg, beaten

1 tsp salt

1/2 tsp black pepper

1/2 tsp dried oregano

1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)

1 cup marinara sauce

Directions:

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, ground pork, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, parsley, garlic, egg, salt, pepper, oregano, and red pepper flakes. Mix until just combined, avoiding over-mixing.

Shape the mixture into 1.5-inch meatballs and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the meatballs are browned and cooked through.

Heat the marinara sauce in a saucepan and gently add the baked meatballs. Simmer for 10 minutes.
