Ingredients:

– 1 pound thinly sliced steak (such as ribeye or sirloin)

– 2 tablespoons olive oil, divided

– 1 onion, thinly sliced

– 1 bell pepper, thinly sliced

– Salt and pepper to taste

– 8 slider buns, split

– 8 slices provolone cheese

For the Garlic Butter Spread:

– 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted

– 2 cloves garlic, minced

– 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley

– 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

– 1/4 teaspoon salt

Directions:

1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish or line it with parchment paper.

2. In a large skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the thinly sliced steak to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally, until browned and cooked through. Remove the steak from the skillet and set aside.

3. In the same skillet, heat the remaining tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced onion and bell pepper to the skillet and cook for 5-7 minutes, or until softened and caramelized. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

4. While the onions and peppers are cooking, prepare the garlic butter spread. In a small bowl, mix together the melted butter, minced garlic, chopped parsley, garlic powder, and salt.

5. Place the bottom halves of the slider buns in the prepared baking dish. Top each bottom bun with a portion of the cooked steak, followed by the sautéed onions and peppers.

6. Place a slice of provolone cheese on top of each slider, then cover with the top halves of the slider buns.

7. Brush the tops of the slider buns generously with the garlic butter spread.

8. Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the sliders are heated through.

9. Once done, remove the foil from the baking dish and switch the oven to broil. Broil the sliders for an additional 1-2 minutes, or until the tops are golden brown and slightly crispy.

10. Remove the Philly Cheesesteak Sliders from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes before serving.

11. Serve the sliders hot and enjoy the irresistible combination of flavors!
