Ingredients:
1 pound (450g) ground beef
1/4 cup (40g) chopped onions
1 large onion, sliced
1/3 cup (35g) breadcrumbs
1 cup (70g) sliced mushrooms
3 teaspoons (25g) cornstarch
1 egg
3 tablespoons (45ml) water
1 teaspoon salt
Black pepper to taste
Instructions:
In a large bowl, mix the ground beef, breadcrumbs, chopped onions, egg, salt, and black pepper.
Separate the mixture into 4 portions and shape into steaks.
Cooking Steps:
3. Cook the steaks in a pan for 10 minutes or until browned on both sides.
Add beef broth, sliced onions, and mushrooms to the pan.
Bring the mixture to a boil, then turn the heat to low, cover, and cook until the steaks are no longer pink in the center (about 10 minutes).
Transfer the steaks to a platter.
Gravy Steps:
7. Bring the mixture in the pan back to a boil.
In a small bowl, mix cornstarch with water.
Pour the cornstarch mixture into the boiling mixture.
Continue to cook, stirring, until the mixture thickens.
Final Touch:
