I try to cook this Baked Cajun Shrimp dish at least twice a month because it’s simple and quick to prepare. They make an excellent weeknight sheet pan supper.
Ingredients:
– 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
– 2 tablespoons olive oil
– 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
– 1 teaspoon garlic powder
– 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
– 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional for extra heat)
– Salt to taste
– Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish
– Lemon wedges, for serving
Directions:
1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
2. In a large bowl, combine the shrimp with olive oil, Cajun seasoning, garlic powder, smoked paprika, red pepper flakes (if using), and salt. Toss to ensure the shrimp are evenly coated.
3. Arrange the shrimp in a single layer on a baking sheet.
4. Bake in the preheated oven for 8-10 minutes, or until the shrimp are pink, firm, and cooked through.
5. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve immediately with lemon wedges on the side.
