Ingredients:
– 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
– 1/4 cup milk
– 1 egg
– 1/2 tsp garlic powder
– 1/2 tsp onion powder
– Salt and pepper to taste
– 2 tbsp olive oil
– 2 tbsp butter
– 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
– 2 cups beef broth
– 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
– Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Directions:
In a large bowl, mix together ground beef, breadcrumbs, milk, egg, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until well combined. Form into meatballs.
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add meatballs and cook, turning occasionally, until browned on all sides, about 10-12 minutes. Remove meatballs and set aside.
In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Stir in flour to create a roux. Cook, stirring constantly, for 1-2 minutes.
Gradually whisk in beef broth and Worcestershire sauce. Bring to a simmer, stirring constantly, until the sauce thickens.
Return meatballs to the skillet, coating them in the gravy. Simmer for an additional 5-10 minutes.
Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
