Spaghetti & Stuffed Mozzarella Garlic Bread Recipe

This Spaghetti Stuffed Garlic Bread is a fun family supper that is simple to prepare and adds fresh life to a classic dish. This is an excellent activity for getting the kids engaged in assembly while also having fun in the kitchen!

Ingredients:

1 pound spaghetti

1 loaf of French bread

1/2 cup unsalted butter

1 tablespoon minced garlic

1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese

1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley

2 cups marinara sauce

2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions:

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

Cook spaghetti according to package directions. Drain and set aside.

Cut the loaf of French bread in half lengthwise.

In a small saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.

Brush the garlic butter mixture over the bread halves.

Sprinkle grated parmesan cheese and chopped parsley over the bread halves.

Bake in the preheated oven for 10 minutes, until the bread is crispy and golden brown.

Meanwhile, heat marinara sauce in a medium saucepan over medium heat.

Add cooked spaghetti to the saucepan and toss to coat with the sauce. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Remove the bread from the oven and top each half with shredded mozzarella cheese.

Return the bread to the oven and bake for an additional 5-7 minutes, until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

Cut the bread into slices and serve alongside the spaghetti.
