Variations:

  • Shrimp: To save time, choose fresh or frozen shrimp that have already been peeled and deveined. Thaw the frozen shrimp before adding the seasonings.
  • Spices: Use your favorite store-bought spice blends, such as Old Bay or Tajin, or create your own. Replace the parsley with oregano or onion powder.
  • Is there no air fryer? Not a problem! Cook for about three minutes on each side in a skillet.

Ideal cooking time

Cooking time is typically 8 minutes. However, it is dependent on the kind of air fryer and the size of the shrimp.

I use my favorite Phillips air fryer, which fits a huge air fryer basket and cooks it nicely by 7 minutes. It will be somewhat shorter if yours is larger (check it around the 6-minute point).
