Philly Cheesesteak Sloppy Joes

Who says you must pick between a Philly Cheesesteak and a Sloppy Joe? Combine the best of both worlds with this delectable dish! 

Ingredients:

– 1 tablespoon olive oil

– 1 pound ground beef

– 1 onion, finely chopped

– 1 green bell pepper, finely chopped

– 2 cloves garlic, minced

– 1 cup beef broth

– 2 tablespoons ketchup

– 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

– Salt and pepper to taste

– 4 hamburger buns

– 1 cup shredded provolone cheese

Directions:

1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spoon, about 5 minutes.

2. Add the onion, bell pepper, and garlic to the skillet. Cook, stirring occasionally, until the vegetables are tender, about 5 minutes.

3. Stir in beef broth, ketchup, and Worcestershire sauce. Season with salt and pepper. Bring to a simmer and let cook until the mixture has thickened, about 10 minutes.

4. Preheat the broiler. Spoon the beef mixture onto the hamburger buns and top each with shredded provolone cheese.

5. Place under the broiler until the cheese is melted and bubbly, about 2-3 minutes.
